By rssfeeds-admin NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore officially has his coaching staff to begin his tenure in the Black and Gold, and the first-year head coach announced his assistant coaches this afternoon.
Moore’s personnel have multiple ties to Louisiana:
- Offensive Coordinator – Doug Nussmeier (former Saints QB from 1996-67)
- Defensive Coordinator – Brandon Staley
- Special Teams Coordinator – Phil Galiano (spent last seven seasons on Saints staff)
- Associate HC/running backs coach – Joel Thomas (previous Saints RB coach: 2015-2023)
- Defensive Pass Game Coordinator – Terry Joseph (Archbishop Shaw alum)
- Defensive Run Game Coordinator – T.J. Paganetti
- Assistant Defensive Backs coach – Robert Blanton
- Cornerbacks Coach – Grady Brown (McNeese defensive coordinator in 2020)
- Defensive Line Coach – Bo Davis (former LSU defensive lineman and DL coach in 2024)
- Assistant Offensive Line Coach – Jahri Evans (Saints Hall-of-Fame member)
- Senior Defensive Assistant – Peter Giunta (held position with Saints since 2016)
- Assistant Linebackers Coach – Adam Gristick (spent previous two years as Saints assistant)
- Tight Ends Coach – Chase Haslett (son of former Saints HC Jim Haslett: 2000-2005)
- Offensive Assistant – Tobijah Hughley
- Offensive Line Coach – Brendan Nugent (former Saints OL coach in 2021)
- Senior Offensive Assistant – Scott Linehan (LSU passing game coordinator in 2020)
- Assistant to the head coach – Mike Martinez (six years with Saints)
- Edges Coach – Jay Rodgers
- Linebackers Coach – Peter Sirmon
- Quarterbacks Coach – Scott Tolzein
- Assistant Wide Receivers Coach – Kyle Valero
- Assistant Special Teams Coach – Kyle Wilber
- Wide Receivers Coach – Keith Williams (entering second season in same role)
- Assistant Defensive Line Coach – Brian Young (Saints pass rush specialist since 2016)
- Director of Sports Performance – Ted Rath
- Strength & Conditioning Coaches – Charles Byrd (18th year) & Riley Ireland (2nd year)
