Officers found the keg inside the floorless RV, which was inhabited by a man with an outstanding arrest warrant, PPB spokesperson Terri Wallo Strauss told KOIN.
“The subject from the RV said it wasn’t his and was not charged with anything,” Strauss said. “He was arrested for the outstanding warrant.”
Breakside Brewery was not aware of any recent thefts but was “very grateful” when officers showed up to return the keg, PPB said. Based on the keg, Breakside estimated that the beer was a year old and that the keg was never opened.
“You never know what you’ll find during a tow assist,” PPB Bike Squared shared on Instagram.
