Plainfield police seek help in locating missing 16-year-old boy

PLAINFIELD, Ill. — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 16-year-old boy from southwest suburban Plainfield.

Ethan Hernandez was reported missing around 2:40 p.m. Monday after he left his home in the 14800 block of Penn Road.

Police said the teen’s phone has been turned off since he left his residence.

Ethan is described as being 5’05” tall and weighing about 155 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black Nike joggers, black Nike hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt underneath, black colored Nike gym shoes and light and dark gray camo neck gator (facemask).
