Construction crews are hard at work putting the final touches on a new building designed to enhance and support the growing efforts and needs of the Mountain Home Fire Department (MHFD).
MHFD Fire Chief Kris Quick says the nearly 10,000 sq. ft. building will help with fire response times.

Along with improving operations, Mountain Home Mayor Hillrey Adams says another key component of the new building will be to help the fire department fill more staff positions.

With the current rate of progress, Quick is confident the building will be completed by late March or early April.
