Commissioners awarded bid No. 1484 for a new bucket truck for the Cullman County Road Department. The bid of $72,000 was awarded to Bunker Hill Motors.
A proposal to sign an agreement for property records services was postponed due to the absence of a contract.
At no cost to the County, the commission approved the Cullman County EMA director to sign an agreement with VEOCI for incident management software in the amount of $18,000, paid for by a three-year grant (2024-FIL-8).
The EMA director was also authorized to sign an agreement with TSA for emergency equipment totaling $22,394.64 from a previous $60,000 grant (2024-4LOC-EOC-128).
Finally, the EMA director was authorized to sign a memorandum of understanding between the Cullman County EMA and Cullman EMS, allowing emergency responders to use the former Cullman County Rescue Squad channel as a back-up radio frequency.
The next meeting of the Cullman County Commission will take place Monday, March 18, at 6 p.m. in the commission meeting room on the first floor of the Cullman County Courthouse. A work session will precede the meeting at 4.
