Things You Need to Know for March 4

The tariffs targeting Mexican and Canadians imports begin today, bringing fears of a trade war with our neighbors that might lead to higher inflation.

President Trump will be imposing a 25% tax against goods from Canada and Mexico, as well as doubling the tariff on Chinese goods to 20%.

These tariffs could affect buying fresh produce, gas, or a car.

The School District of Philadelphia has announced the academic calendars for the next two school years.

They will have five national holidays and a minimum of 180 student days for all grade levels.

The first day of school for the 2025-2026 school year will be on August 25, 2025, and the last day is scheduled for June 12, 2026.
