The office says the teenager, 14, passed away at the scene of the crash.

The teen’s mother said he was riding along the end of their road when he somehow lost control while going up a hill. She said he was by himself at the time, and a passerby found him and called 911. She said efforts to revive her son were unsuccessful.

“He was the most kind-hearted, loving, caring and adventurous 14-year-old you’d ever meet,” His mother said. “He loved the outdoors and just being a boy. Most of the time, if you seen him riding, he would have his dog alongside his adventures with him. They were the best of friends.”
