MH ranked 15th among Arkansas high schools for enrollment opportunities

A national publication known as Money, Inc., released an article last month in which it ranked the top 30 high schools for enrollment opportunities in Arkansas. The publication has Mountain Home High School Career Academies ranked at No. 15.

According to Money, Inc., the selection process varies by district and school, with some requiring specific academic criteria or residential requirements for admission. Parents and students can explore enrollment options at the 30 schools on the list through open enrollment policies, school choice programs and magnet school applications.

The publication states Mountain Home maintains an enrollment of approximately 900 students with a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1. Students are able to choose from a variety of Advanced Placement courses, including Biology, Calculus, English Literature and U.S. History. Career and technical education programs in areas including business, agriculture and healthcare are also offered.

The high school campus features modern facilities including science labs, a media center and athletic facilities. Mountain Home’s graduation rate consistently exceeds 90%, with many graduates continuing to college.

Mountain Home High School accepts transfer students from surrounding districts through school choice programs, subject to space availability and state guidelines.

Money, Inc., has placed Little Rock Central as the top high school in Arkansas for enrollment opportunities.
