In March 2024, the Abilene Police Department responded to a call for child indecency.
According to court records, officers spoke with the suspect’s mother, who showed police a cell phone used by the suspect, Landon Moseley. That phone reportedly contained messages with girls aged approximately 14 to 16.
Documents indicate that forensic analysis revealed messages of a sexual nature, as well as explicit images.
Moseley was booked into the Taylor County Jail on February 28, 2025, with a bond set at $100,000.
