Group wanted for theft from Philadelphia Portal
PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — Police are searching for four people wanted in connection with a theft from the Philadelphia Portal.

According to Philadelphia Police, the theft happened around 5:40 a.m. on February 1. The first suspect was caught on security cameras cutting a section of copper wire from the Portal at LOVE Park. After taking the wire, the group left the area with the wire in a large green and yellow trash can.

If the suspects are seen, police say contact 9-1-1 immediately and do not approach them.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Central Detective Division at 215-686-3093/3094. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling 215-686-TIPS (8477) or on the Philadelphia Police Department’s website.
