A line of rain and storms set up in our western counties mid afternoon and moves east, arriving at the coast by the early evening. As they pass, storms have the potential to produce heavy downpours, gusty winds, and even a small risk for tornadoes. The Delaware Valley could see half to a whole inch of rain. Gusty winds could reach 45 to 50 mph, possibly downing trees and powerlines. This is the first classic spring storm set up of the season.
