Shreveport police make 12 DWI arrests during busy Mardi Gras weekend

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Twelve people were arrested for driving while intoxicated in Shreveport during a busy Mardi Gras weekend.

In a press release, the Shreveport Police Department stated they work hard to ensure the community’s safety and urge all residents to celebrate responsibly without drinking and driving.

On February 28, SPD arrested Landrum Anderson, Stephanie Cromwell, George Gauthier, and Sharitha wise.

On March 1, Jaylon Blake, Brittany Clarkston, Jonathan Turner, and Kassi Wolford were arrested for DWI-related offenses.

On Mar. 2, SPD arrested Michael Brumley and Jennifer Wise. Michael Mallard and Chradell Pugh were arrested on Mar. 3.

All 12 citizens face DWI charges.
