LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — An 18-year-old is behind bars following the deadly stabbing of his girlfriend, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD).

Officers said it happened just after 7 p.m. on Saturday in the 5300 block of Buckner Avenue. The Louisville FOX affiliate, WDRB, reported that officers found a 15-year-old girl with multiple stab wounds.

She was pronounced deceased by first responders on the scene.

A witness told officers that she heard the girl ask 18-year-old Kaden Seviour to be let out of a bedroom and attempt to open the door.

Court documents stated the witness went outside and opened the window. That’s when Seviour jumped from the open window and fled the scene, leaving the girl on the ground suffering multiple stab wounds.

According to court documents, the two were in a relationship.
