“They just told me to stay in my room and don’t look at them,” one victim who did not want to be identified, said on Action News at 10 on PHL17. “We’re doing better now, but we’re still fixing the damages.”
The victim told police that the intruders came into the home and forced them in different rooms while they ransacked the home. Investigators said they stole $19,000 in cash, $25,000 in jewelry and five iPhones.
“They took away of lot of hard-earned things,” the victim added. He is also asking the robbers to stop from doing this to another family, because this incident was extremely traumatizing.
The victims included a 15-year-old boy, a 25-year-old woman, a 29-year-old man, a 55-year-old woman, and a 61-year-old man.
The police believe the suspects to be 20 to 30 years of age. They described the intruders to be wearing ski masks. One suspect wore a green coat while the other three were wearing black.
No injuries were reported in the home invasion.
