Report of car driving off Twin Bridges unfounded

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Twin Bridges are back open after being briefly shut down due to reports of a vehicle driving off one of the bridges.

Central Dispatch tells us the call came in at 2:33 a.m. early Sunday morning.

We’re told several agencies responded, and shut down the southbound bridge to investigate.

Officials say they were not able to locate anything.

The scene has been cleared and officials say the report was unfounded.
