Local musician unveils 5th music visual, ‘Sometimes’

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Shreveport R&B-soul-funk artists, Edi Kí announces his fifth music visual ‘Sometimes’ a poignant reflection on the struggles of creativity.

Ki was born in Temple, Texas, but raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. He shares “Sometimes“, invites listeners to step into his world—the highs, the lows, and the unrelenting passion that fuels his artistry.

“Sometimes I’m uninspired trying to create something that’s supposed to get me out the hood. What word, note, or key would help make this song THE song? After working all day, how can I find the time to create? I’m tired… yet hopeful,” says Kí.

The visual takes viewers inside Edi Kí’s daydreams, imagining life as a full-time artist—free from the daily grind of clocking in and out, answering to bosses, and sacrificing creative energy for survival. According to the news release, it’s a relatable and a raw look at many independent artists’ challenges.

“This song is not just another song but an expression of what artists deal with when facing writer’s block and chasing their dreams,” he adds.

His past releases, including My Year, Flawless, and Love Again, have resonated with audiences, blending storytelling with captivating melodies.
