The Leopards took an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first, but the Hornets slowly started to fight back.
In the bottom of the third Grant Rampy hit one skipping across second base, bringing home a runner to cut the Leopard’s lead down to two.
Liberty-Eylau added on two more runs in the fourth and the Hornets got one, making it a 4-3 game. Bottom of the fifth however, Hornets took control of the game tacking on two runs and taking the lead for the first time.
The Leopards were able to answer in the top of the sixth, with a Gabe Jarvis double to bring two runners in.
Then in the seventh it was Cade McLeod to bring in two more runners and seal the victory on the offensive side for the Leopards, 8-6 the final score.
