JFK tops Booker T. Washington 48-45 in first round of playoffs

NEW ORLEANS – No. 9 John F. Kennedy topped No. 24 Booker T. Washington 48-45 in the first round of the Division II Select playoffs.

Kernell Brown led all Cougars in with 19.

John F. Kennedy will play No. 9 David Thibodaux in the second round on Tuesday, March 4.
