During the Highland neighborhood Mardi Gras parade, CCNLA will serve hot dogs, chili, and drinks at Brother’s Hair Salon (Kings Hwy & Centenary Blvd) starting at 11 a.m. Food will be available for a donation, and all proceeds will benefit the organization’s vital community programs.
CCNLA provides education and essential services, including financial and emergency assistance, a resource closet for young families, immigration services, and legal aid. The organization serves as a safety net for individuals facing financial difficulties, helping bridge the gap during tough times.
CCNLA invites the public to an Open House on Tuesday, March 4, at 8 a.m. and Noon, located at 902 Olive St., Shreveport, La to further showcase their work. Attendees can tour the program, enjoy King Cake and coffee, and learn about volunteer opportunities.
