ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Willie Ann Fairley, 55, for allegedly stabbing a woman in the head with a kitchen knife.

On Feb. 27, around 4:30 p.m., officers responded to the 4400 block of Trevor Circle for reports of a domestic incident. Authorities saw the victim with a kitchen knife in her hand upon arrival.

“This is the knife she stabbed me with,” the woman told officials.

The victim later told police the incident initially started as an argument but escalated when Fairley stabbed her in the head three times.

A witness reported she saw Failey grab a kitchen knife and stab the woman in the neck area, according to court records.
