According to the criminal complaint, a State Police investigation started in March 2021 after receiving a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) about child sexual abuse material (CSAM) being uploaded to DropBox by the account owned by now 27-year-old Jonathan A. Masters.
Police then received a second tip about more CSAM being transmitted via Kik in May 2024 and another in Sep. 2024 by accounts allegedly used by Masters.
This investigation led to police serving a search warrant at Masters’ address in the 400 block of Halywday Run Road on Jan. 10 where he allegedly admitted to sending CSAM over the course of several years despite being told answering questions was optional.
During the search of Master’s home, police found two cellphones containing 457 photos and videos containing CSAM, with the youngest victim being an estimated 4-6 years old, according to the criminal complaint.
Masters has since been arraigned in Venango County Court and faces 457 counts of felony child pornography, two counts of criminal use of a communication facility and one count of disseminating child sex acts.
He’s since been released after posting $25,000 bail and is due in court again on March 5.
