Mobile home destroyed, dog killed in Eula fire

CALLAHAN COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A mobile home was destroyed and a dog was killed during a fire in Eula Thursday morning.

According to the Eula Fire Department, a home on the 8700 block of County Road 233 caught fire around 6:00 a.m.

All occupants – a mother, father, and unknown number of children – were able to escape without injury. However, at least one family dog has died and another is missing and presumed dead.

The cause of this fire is still under investigation, and the home is considered a total loss.

No further information is available at this time.
