By rssfeeds-admin PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 22-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after slapping a mother and spitting on a baby while armed with a gun at a Eugene mall, police said.
Reeson Coffey was lodged at the Lane County Jail and charged with unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, harassment and fourth-degree assault.
Eugene authorities responded to the Valley River Center just after 4:30 p.m. after receiving the report of the alleged incident.
After Coffey fled from the scene, he was found and arrested at a residence in Springfield, police said.
