Indianapolis Indians hosting promotional nights at Victory Field, games airing on The Dot

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Indians are hosting a multitude of promotional nights at Victory Field during their upcoming season. But if you aren’t able to see a game in person, The Dot — or ETTV — has you covered.

April:

Three games will be hosted on The Dot in April. The Indians will play the Iowa Cubs at home from 6:30-9:30 p.m. on April 1 and 4. Then, they will take on the Toledo Mud Hens on April 18, also from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

That April 1 game is opening night for the Indians. To kick off the event, they will hold the 60 Degree Weather Guarantee presented by FOX59. Here, every fan in attendance will receive a ticket to another April home game if the temperature at first pitch is under 60 degrees.

May:

The Dot will also air three home games in May:

  • May 9, 7-10 p.m.: Columbus Clippers
  • May 16, 7-10 p.m.: Louisville Bats
  • May 30, 7-10 p.m.: Nashville Sounds

If you plan to attend the May 16 game in person, be sure to check out Prospect Weekend presented by Hoosier Lottery, which goes until May 18, the Indians wrote.

June:

With summer in full swing, Indians fans can check out three more home games on The Dot in June:

  • June 13, 7-10 p.m.: St. Paul Saints
  • June 24 and June 27, 7-10 p.m.: Omaha Storm Chasers

Prospect Weekend will return to Victory Field on June 13 and last through June 15.

July:

The following home games will come to The Dot in July, including one “firecracker” of a game on Independence Day.

  • July 4, 6:30-9:30 p.m.: Louisville Bats
  • July 11, 7-10 p.m.: Gwinnett Stripers
  • July 25, 7-10 p.m.: Toledo Mud Hens

Over at Victory Field, there will be a July Fourth Celebration with fireworks shows during that game on the fourth, as well as one on July 5.

In addition, the Negro Leagues Night presented by the Indiana Civil Rights Commission will take place during that July 11 game, the Indians stated in a press release.

August:

As Indiana heads into the dog days of summer, two home games will be hosted on The Dot:

  • Aug. 8, 7-10 p.m.: Omaha Storm Chasers
  • Aug. 29, 7-10 p.m.: Buffalo Bisons

On Aug. 8 and Aug. 9, fans will get to clown around as Circus at the Ballpark returns to Victory Field. This event will play host to stilt walkers, magicians, jugglers, mimes, aerial acrobats and more, the Indians wrote.

If you’re going to the Vic in person for the Aug. 29 game, prepare to suit up. This will be Marvel Super Hero Night, with some “heroic” in-game entertainment.

September:

Rounding out the schedule, The Dot will air one home game on Sept. 12, from 7-10 p.m., and against the Iowa Cubs. This also marks the start of Fan Appreciation Weekend at Victory Field, which goes until Sept. 14 and includes fireworks shows on the 12th and 13th.
