Getting hype for our Philadelphia Union home opener

The Philadelphia Union hosts their home opener at Subaru Park this Saturday, March 1st at 7:30pm. We are getting excited and talking about what fans can expect with the Union’s public address announcer, Kevin Casey.

“It’s 90 minutes of noise. The sons of Ben are going after it for the entire match, they’re standing, they’re banging on the drums, they’re singing, it’s end to end action, it’s that crescendo of that build up where it’s like you see a goal potentially happen and it’s that rise of noise as you get closer and when that goal opportunity comes and we actually put it in the back of the net, that explosion of noise is just unlike any other, I never get used to hearing it,” says Casey.

The Union and new head coach Bradley Carnell, look to make it 2-0 on the season as they take on FC Cincinnati.

Philadelphia Union announced some new additions at Subaru Park for the 2025 MLS season. According to their website, “Fans can expect state-of-the-art sound quality, new high-end premium seating options and various new food options at concession stands throughout the stadium.”
