MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss. — A man and woman were arrested after they allegedly shot at a woman driving her kids to school.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office says Donald Hans II and Julie Lewis are charged for their involvement in a drive-by shooting on Victoria Road Thursday morning.

At around 7:45 a.m., a mother was driving her children to school when she was shot at. No one was injured in the shooting.

Officers reportedly seized weapons and drugs believed to contain traces of fentanyl and Adderall that Hans and Lewis had when they were arrested. The duo also had drugs in their system when they were taken into custody, according to the MCSO.

“We believe we have everybody that was involved in it is in custody so we don’t believe that there’s any other threats in that area or anybody else involved in this,” Sheriff Kenny Dickerson, MCSO.

Hans has a criminal history. The sheriff’s office and Tennessee Highway Patrol are working to gather additional information about shootings in and around Chattanooga that they believe the duo could have been involved in.
