Sinkhole closes road in Henderson

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A portion of Wathen Lane in Henderson has been shut down due to the formation of a sinkhole.

City officials say the Wathen Lane closure starts at Wolf Hills Boulevard, and the area will be restricted to all traffic.

We’re told the necessary repairs will begin on Thursday and is expected to be completed within two days.

Drivers are asked to follow detour routes and be cautious in the area.
