NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — At the movies, you will never see Vaughn Taylor.
You’ll never see Rachel Weaver.
You won’t see them up there on the big screen.
But WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood says you will hear them both.
Weaver and Taylor work behind the scenes and behind the background sounds in film.
They are called Foley Artists.
The name comes from a guy named Jack Foley. He created the style of recording background sounds for films.
They’re the sounds the main microphones just don’t pick up.
