Governor Beshear to attend groundbreaking for Henderson supportive housing

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear is expected to attend the groundbreaking for a Henderson residential community for individuals with disabilities.

According to a release, the groundbreaking for Elevate Estates is set for Friday, February 28 at 12:30 p.m. at 1613 Old Madisonville Road.

Officials say the company will construct a new facility to feature 38 apartments that will offer permanent supportive housing services.

We’re told there will be 48 units in total, with 10 being set aside for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
