According to a press release, on Saturday, March 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sheriff’s Safety Town, women are invited to a free workshop to provide essential safety strategies to enhance personal awareness in various situations.
Officials say participants will learn how to identify online and in-person scams, recognize potential human trafficking situations, and handle incidents involving date rape drugs. Additional sessions will cover the signs of domestic and dating violence, along with guidance on reporting, accessing support networks, and developing safety plans.
