Winnebago and Boone County primary election results:

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — February 25th was Primary Election Day for some counties in Illinois, but not others.

While Winnebago and Boone County have announced results for all the races on Tuesday, Stephenson, Lee and Ogle counties will hold their elections on April 1st.

ROCKFORD BALLOT RESULTS:

Ward 5 Ald. – Gabrielle Torina defeated Virgil Hobson and Christopher Williams
Ward 9 Ald. – Dawn Granath defeated incumbent William Rose
Ward 11 Ald. – Jaime Salgado defeated incumbent Isidro Barrios
Ward 12 Ald. – Gina Meeks defeated Carrie Crosby
Ward 13 Ald. – Tamir Bell defeated incumbent Jeff Bailey as well as Jane Harrell and Giovanni Mikaelson.
Ward 14 Ald. – Mark Bonne defeated Ali Abuihmoud

WINNEBAGO COUNTY BALLOT RESULTS:
Democratic Rockford township trustees – Kylee Miller, Tami Goral, Simon McNamara and L.C. Wilson all secured a position as Township trustees while Mustafa Abdall was defeated.

BOONE COUNTY BALLOT RESULTS:
City of Belvidere
Republican Mayor – Fred Brereton defeated Daniel Arevalo
Republican Ward 4 – Matthew Fleury defeated Chris Linenfelser
Republican Township Supervisor – Bernard O’Malley defeated Rodney Riley
