Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission seeking volunteers for trout stocking

(WHTM) — The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is searching for volunteers to assist in stocking millions of trout in lakes across the state.

According to the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, 3.2 million hatchery-raised trout are set to be stocked in streams and lakes, including state parks and forests, across Pennsylvania.

The 2025 stocking season will run until trout season starts on April 5, the Fish and Boat Commission said.

Interested parties can find the trout stocking schedule, meet-up spots, and more on the Fish and Boat Commission’s website.

It is important to note that all stocking events are subject to change without notice.
