Highs this afternoon will warm into the lower 50s across northern Utah but will likely fall back into the 40s by late this afternoon. Highs across southern Utah will remain some 10-20 degrees above average with highs in the upper 70s. Temperatures will gradually increase back into the mid-50s for the Wasatch Front and low 70s for St. George by late week into the upcoming weekend.
We will remain mostly dry through the end of the week as high pressure holds firm. A weak cut-off low pressure is still looking to try and skim southern Utah, bringing a slight chance for a shower or two for this weekend.
A stronger storm system will arrive next week in the Tuesday/Wednesday time frame, bringing a better chance for widespread precipitation and some cooler temperatures to the state.
Stay tuned!
