The rescue dog is now in need of a forever home. Kaley Stentz found Vance, and has since taken care of him while he healed.
“When we first found him, we couldn’t even get him to come to us with human food,” she shared. “We were trying everything, and we could not catch him. He had burns all down his back, and so now, he’s healed up pretty much.”
Since being rescued, not only has he gotten all his vaccines, he is also now neutered and crate trained. Stentz describes Vance as loving, high-energy, and friendly around all other dog types.
Stentz said, “As soon as we brought him home that day, he was kissing us like he was saying thank you.”
If you are interested in adopting Vance, you can email kingdogrescue@gmail.com or request an application on the King Dog Rescue Facebook page.
“To see someone come from Vance’s situation where he was so abused and traumatized, to just unconditionally loving you, you know, they really deserve the world,” said Stentz.
