PennDOT officials say crews were able to fix a sinkhole on the Route 30 bypass between Route 113 and Norwood Road.

Several eastbound and westbound lanes were closed yesterday morning because of the sinkhole.

Transportation officials are investigating the cause of the sinkhole.

A $1 million Pennsylvania lottery ticket was sold in Berks County.

PA lottery officials say it was a Jumbo Bucks scratch-off ticket sold at Berks Beer Distributing Company in Reading.

The ticket costs about $10, and $1 million is the maximum prize.

The store gets $5,000 for selling the winning ticket.


The Portal in Center City is currently offline.

A spokesperson for the Portal said that it is shut down while they perform routine maintenance and upgrades.

It is scheduled to go back online in early March and celebrate its return during Saint Patrick’s Day.

One of the cities it connects to is Dublin.
