PHL17 visited the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Peter and Paul where local members of the Catholic church have been attending to pray for Pope Francis.

He remains in critical condition battling pneumonia and a complex lung infection that requires high-flow oxygen and blood transfusions.


Democratic state senator Katie Muth plans to introduce a bill that would keep radium out of drinking water.

She represents parts of Montgomery, Chester, and Berks counties. 

It would close a loophole that allows unregulated, untreated industrial waste to end up in the state’s drinking water.  

Radium is a radioactive metal that has been linked to cancer.

Now is the time to get your tickets for the highly anticipated Edelman Fossil Park and Museum, opening March 29th.

The park anticipates a high volume of visitors during its opening days and walk-up tickets may not be available.
