Boat capsizes on Pearl River in Terry

UPDATE:

TERRY, Miss. (WJTV) – Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones said all five occupants, three males and two females, have been located and rescued.

He said all appear to be in stable condition.


TERRY, Miss. (WJTV) – Rescue efforts are underway in Terry after a boat capsized, authorities said.

According to Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones, the boat capsized in the Pearl River on Sunday, February 23.

Jones said rescue efforts are underway in Terry near Rosemary Road. He did not say how many people were on the boat when it capsized.

Emergency personnel have responded to the scene.
