
WASATCH COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Two snowmobilers were caught in an avalanche at Snake Creek on Saturday. One was seriously injured in the slide, according to Wasatch County Search & Rescue.
At around noon on Feb. 22, search and rescue crews responded to reports of an avalanche in the Snake Creek area, west of Midway. Two male snowmobilers were reportedly caught in the slide.
One of the individuals sustained serious injuries, officials said, requiring transport by medical helicopter to a nearby hospital.
“Thanks to all the first responders that assisted,” Wasatch County Search & Rescue posted on social media.
The identity and condition of the victim have not been released.
