TULARE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A three-mile stretch of Highway 99 will be closed for construction on the International Agri-Center Interchange Project starting next week, Caltrans said.
The southbound lanes will be closed at Paige Avenue (Exit 85) starting Feb. 25, at 10 p.m. until Feb. 26, at 4 a.m. A posted detour will direct traffic off the highway at Paige Avenue (Exit 85), then utilize Paige Avenue, K Street and Rankin Road to reenter southbound Highway 99.

The northbound lanes will be closed at Avenue 200 (Exit 83) on Feb. 26, at 10 p.m. until Feb. 27, at 4 a.m. A posted detour will direct traffic off the highway at Avenue 200 (Exit 83), then utilize Tex Drive, Laspina Street and Paige Avenue to reenter northbound Highway 99.
