The festival will feature an abundance of live music and regional cuisine from homegrown jazz musicians and food vendors. There will also be artisan marketplaces that showcase unique creations from local artists as well as family-friendly activities for all ages.
Proceeds from the festival will directly fund scholarships for area high school jazz band students to provide them with the proper instruments and education.
“Jazz Fest on the Red is more than just a festival – it’s a movement to celebrate Shreveport’s jazz legacy while nurturing the next generation of artists,” said Managing Partner Charity Moran. “By bringing world-class jazz to our city and directly supporting young musicians, we’re creating a lasting impact on both our cultural landscape and the future of jazz.”
Jazz Fest on the Red will be held from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Riverview Park, 601-699 Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway in Shreveport. Tickets are now available online and include general admission starting at $40 and VIP packages starting at $100. For more information, please visit their website or contact Charity Moran.
