Gov. Beshear to host blood drive for Red Cross at capitol rotunda
FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX 56) — As the push for blood donation continues throughout the state, Gov. Andy Beshear and First Lady Britainy Beshear announced their plans to host a blood drive at the Kentucky State Capitol rotunda.
The drive is a part of the American Red Cross “Team Kentucky Saves Lives” blood drive.

State employees and Frankfort residents are encouraged to register for appointments online before spits fill up.

According to state leaders, the blood drive will start at 9:30 a.m. on Monday.
