68-year-old woman shot, killed in Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a 68-year-old woman was shot and killed.

The shooting occurred in the 3800 block of Meadow Lane around 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22.

Detective Tommie Brown said the victim, Thelma Wright, 68, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
