Your Friday evening plans will feature partly cloudy skies and cool conditions. Temperatures will be dropping from the 30s into the 20s for northern Utah, with temperatures dropping into the 30s for southern Utah Friday night.
Our weekend will feature nice conditions across the region with high pressure settling in over the area. We’re looking at partly sunny skies expected with highs warming through the 40s for northern Utah, and mid to upper 60s for southern Utah.
As the ridge settles closer to the Beehive State, look for mostly dry and warming weather to expand through the state. High temperatures by the beginning of next week will warm into the mid 50s for northern Utah, and climb into the mid to upper 70s for southern Utah! These temperatures will be about 10-15° above average across southwest Utah.
A few clouds will begin to stream in and out of the area this weekend into next week, but right now, it looks like high pressure will keep most of the storminess to our north and northwest. Looks like this pattern may show signs of breaking down the ridge after the first few days of March — so we will continue to keep an eye out for that.
