When first responders answered the call of a motor vehicle crash at East Bert Kouns and East Kings Highway, they found 20-year-old Christian Gant had been shot. He was rushed to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport where he was pronounced dead.
Officers say a passenger in the car had also been shot and ran from the scene. He was later found at the intersection of Youree Drive and Southfield Road and taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit released footage of a vehicle they believe may belong to someone who has knowledge pertaining to the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Shreveport Police at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
