On Feb. 20, around 7 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Miriam Avenue for a burglary. The woman told authorities she and Jarrett had been arguing because she no longer wanted to give him money.
The suspect texted the woman while she was at work and told her he was going to break glass, break the refrigerator, put holes in the walls of her house and attack her, according to court records.
The victim told officials Jarrett sent videos of himself hitting the wall with a crowbar.
He also took birth certificates and social security cards along with her state ID and driver’s license, according to court documents.
A TV and Roku box was missing when the woman returned home from work, officers reported.
Authorities took Jarrett into custody while he was working at Chipotle on West Lane Road. The suspect had all of the documents in his pants pocket.
Jarrett is charged with residential burglary, criminal property damage, disorderly conduct and phone harassment.
