Approximately 2.1 million Pennsylvanians are eligible to use Direct File, which allows you to file federal and state tax returns at no cost directly with the IRS and Department of Revenue.
This is the first year Pennsylvanians can use Direct File, making the state 1 of 25 offering the product.

The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue also offers assistance on state personal income tax questions through the Department’s Online Customer Service Center. In-person assistance is available at the Department of Revenue district offices.
