RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – After a search of school property, Rankin County deputies said nothing suspicious was found.
Authorities said the schools will return to normal movement on campus. The investigation is ongoing.
RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Rankin County deputies are investigating after an electronic bomb threat was reported at Northwest Rankin High School.
The threat was reported just before 9:15 a.m. on Friday, February 21.
According to Investigator Tyler Burnell, with the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office, multiple local, state and federal law enforcement agencies responded to the school.
Northwest Rankin High, Northwest Rankin Middle, and Northwest Rankin Elementary Schools are currently under controlled movement as a precaution.
