The Hattiesburg American reported Allen Gardner, 18, and Samir Green, 17, both pled guilty on Wednesday, February 19 to first-degree murder. Gardner also pled guilty to the charge of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
Nytavion Shaw, 17, previously pled guilty to second-degree murder in the case. The fourth suspect, Orlando May, is scheduled for trial on March 11, but his counsel filed a motion of continuance on Tuesday, February 18.
Daniels, 21, was killed June 11, 2024, while sitting in his car outside his apartment in Hattiesburg.
Daniels, who was a senior, was a cornerback on the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) football team. He was on the Ole Miss football team in 2021 and 2022. He attended high school at George County High School.
Gardner, Green and Shaw have not been sentenced. They each face 20 to 40 years in prison.
