ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — “May I kiss you on the head? On the snout?” Whitehead Elementary Principal Paula Randall asked a piglet in class on Thursday.
As part of an annual fundraiser at Whitehead Elementary School, students donated pocket change to vote on which staff member they wanted to see kiss a pig.
Randall raised the most. She said all the money raised will go to benefit the students.
“We do the Ron Clark House System, where we have four houses that students are sorted into and we do lots of fun activities and parties throughout the year. And so, this money will be used to help support that,” she said.
Later in the day, Randall also took a pie in the face as part of another fundraiser.
