JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Due to the upcoming frigid temperatures, the City of Jackson has partnered with Shower Power, Inc., again to open a temporary cold weather shelter.
The shelter will be located at Champion Gym on Hattiesburg Street. It will open to the public beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19.
City leaders said snack donations are needed for the shelter. Monetary donations can be made at www.showerpower.kindful.com.
